Basically Pat is your typical human being, letting lose and speaking directly from his heart with little censoring. What you see/read is what you get! This ain't no "reality" TV show folks, edited to "shock" and Pablem fed to the masses. At the end of the day, everyone has a story to tell but few tell it, and not in such a unique and graphic way. Pat strips down his feelings and lays them bare for all to see, and so far his dedicated subscriber base have heaped much appreciated praise on his continued effort.
You'll find Pat's writing style is quick and loose and on the fly, like reading out of someone's private journal. Here and there he slows it down a bit to express a more creative atmosphere. The drawings are the same, all done in ink, quickly, just as they pass through his daily life. (NOTE: No erasures were used in the making of these images) It is generally fast paced and even a bit messy, purposely. He never planned for it to be glossy and "perfect" and completely thought out. It unfolds as his life does, sometimes with a great deal of concentration, and sometimes very chaotic and filled with uncertainty.
In this generation of reality TV shows and Internet stars, it's not so odd to get a glimpse behind the scenes of someone's life.
